Joyce Paterson - Member since 1986

She joined the club in 1986 officially but she was in the club all her life as her parents were members of the the club. When she joined the club, the club wasn't renovated so the kitchen was were the gents Locker room is, the stage was were the bar used to be, Ladies locker room is the same but smaller. The Uniform when she joined the uniform was the Grey Skirts, White Blouse and if the ladies got to the Scottish or Glasgow Finals, they had wear White Butcher Hats. The first competition she won was the Vice President's but it was by default because her opponent didn't show up for the final. In the 37 years that she has been a member, Her greatest Achievements was when, she won the championship the first time in 2015, that was good considering women could only play on a Wednesday because that was the women Aggregate Game, also when I got to Northfield in the Scottish Ladies Singles. so they were some of her achievements in her bowling career so far and happy that her two sons can carry on her Legacy for years to come.
